Accounting and Accountability in Emerging Economies (AAEE) Workshop 2024

The Journal of Accounting in Emerging Economies (JAEE) and the Gulf University for Science and Technology will host an in-person joint paper development workshop at the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) from the 18th - 20th of February 2024.
Aimed at established, emerging scholars and doctoral students, the main objective is to provide feedback on draft research papers or extended abstracts related to the JAEE’s Special Issue on “Accounting, Accountability & Governance in the Middle East and North African (MENA) Region.
The workshop will also assist in developing the research skills of scholars on issues that are of relevance to JAEE and promote networking/collaboration amongst accounting scholars in the region and beyond.
As part of the workshop, JAEE editors and senior scholars will lead sessions and provide insights on publishing strategies and techniques, as well as in-depth feedback on selected papers. Given the workshop duration and the interest in encouraging detailed feedback, there will be a limited number of accepted submissions.
